Niching is a stanky red herring
Welcome to the fight between specialist and generalist. Freelancers get especially snippy about niching. It’s interesting (really boring) how strongly they feel. I think most have misunderstood what it means to niche. If we thought about it for longer than a few minutes, we’d realise we’re often specialising and generalising.

Make sales with content (why else bother with it?)
Content creation is the nuts for generating revenue and building authority. Content answers client questions, oils the sales process and remains useful for a long-ass time. Sure, success is never guaranteed and content marketing requires ongoing evaluation and adaptation BUT without it, your business can’t begin to thrive.
